The company's ship repair base is located in Chongming Island, Shanghai, near the Yangtze River estuary, facing Shanghai Port across the river, with superior geographical and water conditions, and it is very convenient to travel between Chongming Island and Shanghai downtown through the Yangtze River Tunnel Bridge. It covers an area of 230,000 square meters, with a coastline of 2,300 meters along the river and 2,290 meters along the wharf. The ship repair infrastructure is perfect: there are 6.5438+0.75 million tons of floating dock 1 seat (Dadong), 6.5438+0.5 million tons of floating dock 1 seat (East China), 80,000 tons of floating dock 1 seat (Xingdong) and 50,000 tons of floating dock/kloc-. Among them, Dadong floating dock is the largest floating dock in East China at present, which can meet the repair needs of 200,000-ton ships or 8500TEU ships. The production pattern of four docks and eight berths enables the company to repair about 240 10,000-ton ships a year.
Since 2007, China Resources Dadong started the construction of the third phase project. The main works include a 300,000-ton dry dock (including 800-ton gantry crane), a general car pool and a painting workshop, in which the dry dock is 380m long,103m wide and14m deep, and can dock 300,000-ton bulk cargo and oil tankers. The 300,000-ton dry dock was fully put into operation on August 6, 200011kloc-0/2, witnessed by more than 200 shipping company representatives and classification society representatives from Brazil's Vale and the US Bureau of Shipping.
The company took the lead in establishing a comprehensive quality, occupational health and safety and environmental management system in China, and in July 2006, it was awarded OHSAS18001:1999 and ISO14001:2004+0 by ABSQE of the US Bureau of Ship Inspection. In addition, according to SOLAS Convention (1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea) and ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), the company successfully obtained the People's Republic of China (PRC) Port Facility Security Compliance Certificate in June 2004, which provided excellent quality, safety and health protection for domestic and foreign shipowners who came to our company for ship repair.
