How to process fur into mature skin?

After tanning, fur can become soft and beautiful raw materials for light industrial products, which can be used to make leather shoes, suitcases, fur coats, hats, gloves and other daily necessities. With good elasticity and warmth retention, it sells well in domestic and foreign markets. There are many tanning methods for fur. This paper introduces a simple and practical processing technology. 1. Skin shovel oil: Most fresh skins of domestic animals and wild animals need to be cleaned and preserved, and they can only be handed over to tanneries for processing after a period of time. Cleaning method: cut off hooves, ears, lips, tail, bones, etc. Then use a knife to remove the residual meat and fat under the skin, and wash away the dirt, feces and congestion. Put it on the skin, and then hang the fresh skin in a ventilated place to dry, which can prevent strong light from shining. You can also use hydrochloric acid pickling method, that is, sprinkle salt on the skin surface, the amount of salt is about 25% of the skin weight, pickle for about 6 days, and pile it up. 2. Soak and wash the skins: put the treated fresh skins into a jar and soak them with clean water. The suitable water temperature is 15- 18℃ for 6- 10 hour. The purpose of soaking is to soften hides by absorbing water. Use 3-4 kilograms of soda ash or 5-6 soaps per 100 sheepskin; Use 2.5-3 kg of soda ash or 2-3 bars of soap per 100 dog skin. Then put the soaked skin into dilute alkali solution to scrub and remove oil stains, then rinse with clear water and wring it out. It takes about 4-6 minutes to wash the fur with alkaline water, and the time to wash the fur should not be too long, otherwise it will easily cause the fluff to fall off and affect the appearance of the fur. 3. Tanning in the lower tank: prepare tanning liquid according to the ratio of 4-5 parts of alum, 3-5 parts of salt and 0/00 part of clear water/kloc. Prepare alum with warm water first, then add salt and water and mix well. When the temperature is 15℃, less salt should be added, and when it exceeds 20℃, more salt should be added. The water temperature is about 30℃. Soak the fur for 7- 10 days, take it out, and rinse the fur with clear water, so that the meat surface does not need to be lifted. Finally, castor oil 10, soap 10 and water 100 were used to prepare a solution, which was smeared on the semi-dry fur meat surface, properly sprayed with water to make it regain moisture, and then wrapped with plastic film. 4. Skin drying and scraping: after tanning and leveling in the lower tank, put it on the grass or hang it on the rope, sun the skin board first, then sun the rough surface, comb it by hand along the rough trend and restore it to its original state. Then scrape off the residual fat under the skin with a blunt knife. When operating, the left hand holds the skin flap tightly, and the right hand holds a blunt knife from top to bottom, scraping it back and forth again and again until the skin flap becomes soft and loose. Scrape the skin, nail it to the board, spread it out and put it in a ventilated place to dry. 5. Finishing hair style: After the skin is dry, smooth the meat surface with pumice or sandpaper, and remove the trimming. Finally, comb the hair with a comb, and the long part can be trimmed appropriately to make the hairstyle neat and beautiful.
