In modern medicine, the method of studying and applying natural or artificial physical factors to the human body and achieving health care, preventive treatment and rehabilitation through physiological regulation mechanisms such as neurohumors, endocrine and immunity is called physical therapy, which is referred to as physical therapy for short.
Physical therapy can treat:
(1) It can be used for nerve, muscle, sensory and motor dysfunction caused by craniocerebral injury, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, peripheral nerve injury, etc. By using electronic biofeedback, intermediate frequency, low frequency, air pressure, neural function reconstruction and other electrotherapy, brain blood circulation can be improved, muscle tension can be reduced or increased, muscle strength can be enhanced, muscle atrophy can be prevented, and the control ability of nervous system can be improved.
(2) Neck, shoulder, back and leg pain diseases, gynecological diseases, bone and joint diseases, using medium-frequency and low-frequency therapy can relieve pain, promote blood circulation, diminish inflammation and reduce swelling.
(3) Electrotherapy such as air pressure wave and intermediate frequency is used to promote blood circulation, soften paralysis and relieve pain.
(4) The application of air pressure wave in diabetic neuritis, diabetic foot and varicose veins of lower limbs can improve the blood circulation of limbs and increase the activity of fibrinolytic system.
