Patients with cleft palate can apply for funds to get financial aid. Among them, "Smile Train" is a charity project, which aims to provide financial support for poor patients with cleft lip and palate. In this project, Smile Train provides patients with cleft lip and palate repair surgery free of charge in more than 300 designated hospitals across the country, and the cost is subsidized by the American Smile Train Fund. Therefore, patients with cleft palate can get the aid of operation expenses by applying for funds to help them carry out cleft lip and palate repair surgery.
