Mandibular hypertrophy and plastic surgery
There are four incision methods for correction of mandibular angle hypertrophy (square face): extraoral incision, intraoral incision, combined incision inside and outside the mouth and retroauricular incision. At present, most mandibular angle hypertrophy is corrected by intraoral and extraoral incision. The extraoral incision method is to make a skin incision 2 -5cm long at the lower edge of mandibular angle under local anesthesia, and then expose the masseter muscle and cut off the masticatory muscle. If the mandibular angle is osteoporosis, it is necessary to cut the appropriate part of the mandible into an arc, then smooth it with a bone file and sew up the periosteum, muscle, subcutaneous and skin layer by layer. This method is convenient and simple, and it is easy to expose the diseased tissue and leave scar on the incision.

Generally, it will gradually fade after 6 months, and the cost is low. In addition, the mandibular angle hypertrophy was removed from the mouth. General tracheal intubation is used for general anesthesia. Except for the last molar in the mouth, the mucosa was cut to the periosteum of mandibular angle and divided into appropriate areas. After full exposure, the appropriate part of the mandibular horn bone was removed with a swing saw, and then the periosteum was restored and sutured, and then the mucosa was sutured. The advantage of this method is that it will not leave scars on the submandibular skin. However, the disadvantages are that the operation is difficult, the mandibular angle is often difficult to reveal, sometimes the bone removal is not thorough enough, postoperative oral care is not easy to cause infection, and the operation cost is high.

Doctors are good at using professional tools to remove mandibular angle hypertrophy by osteotomy through oral approach without leaving any surgical scars on the skin surface. Because the whole operation process adopts professional general anesthesia technology, it ensures the safety of the operation and the customer will not feel pain.
