Due to the influence and training of He, his six sons are all engaged in orthopedics, and two of his four daughters are engaged in traditional Chinese medicine. The eldest son, He, was born in 1929. He studied martial arts and medicine with his father since childhood and entered the clinic before he was 20 years old. After the liberation of Guangzhou, he received systematic Chinese medicine education. He used to be the director and dean of orthopedics in Liwan District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and was employed as honorary president of Hong Kong Orthopedic Research Association. He is one of the famous orthopedic surgeons in Guangzhou. The fifth son, He, is the director of orthopedics of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a consultant of Hong Kong Orthopedic Society and a professor of Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Society. His youngest son, He Yingquan, graduated from Guangzhou College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in his early years and taught at his alma mater.
