1937 After the July 7th Incident, in order to prevent the Japanese army from invading Luzhong Mountain area, the Nanjing National Government ordered the destruction of the main line and bridge works of Jaco and Boba branch lines. 1938, Jaco branch line opened to traffic. Boba branch line was opened to traffic at 194 1. During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Jaco and Boba branch lines were repeatedly attacked by anti-Japanese armed forces, and the operations were interrupted several times. During the war of liberation, the Zhangba branch line was one of the focuses of the military struggle between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. There were three large-scale emergency repairs:1From July to August, 1946, the railway bureau of Jinpu District of Nanjing National Government resumed operation to solve the "coal shortage" in Jinan, which was soon destroyed by the soldiers and civilians in the liberated areas; 1947 In March, the Luzhong Military Region and the Administrative Office changed the route to 1 meter rail to transport coal. In August, it was attacked by the Kuomintang army and was paralyzed. Zibo was finally liberated in March of 1948, and the Ji Jiao Railway Emergency Repair Committee was established by East China Finance and Economics Office, which changed the track gauge from 1m to standard gauge, and it was completed and opened to traffic on February 28th of the same year.
