2. Clock tower/kloc-0 was completed in June, 907, and 1909+065438 10. It took two years and five months, cost 250,000 yen, and as many as 20,000 people built the tower. The bullet-shaped spire was built to commemorate the "death" of the Japanese army in the Russo-Japanese War, to show off "meritorious military service" (or candle-shaped, meaning A Ring of Endless Light), and to beautify Japanese militarism and colonial activities against China. Bai Yushan Tower is an important material evidence to witness the crime of Japanese invaders colonizing Northeast China. 1945, the word "tower in the tower" was eradicated by the Soviet Union and later changed to Baiyu Tower. 1952 "Nagu Temple" was demolished, 1985 Baiyu Baota was listed as "the site of the Russo-Japanese War and the material evidence of imperialist aggression against China" and renamed as "Bai Yushan Pagoda" according to the mountain.
