Coordinate window:
The window 1, the part you know for yourself and others, is called "open me", which belongs to the part displayed by the individual and has nothing to hide.
Window two. The part you know but others don't know is called "private me", which belongs to the private secret part of the individual.
Window three. What I don't know, and what others don't know, is called "potential me", which is the part to be developed.
Window 4, because you don't know what others know, is called "carrying me", just like a person's back, you can't see it yourself, but others can see it clearly.
Self-awareness mainly includes three psychological components:
1, self-knowledge.
Self-knowledge is the subjective self's understanding and evaluation of the objective self. Self-knowledge is your own understanding of your physical and mental characteristics, and self-evaluation is a judgment made on your own basis. Correct self-evaluation has a great influence on a person's psychological life and behavior.
2. Experience yourself.
Self-experience is the inner emotional experience caused by the subject's understanding of himself, and it is a subjective attitude I hold towards the objective me, such as self-confidence, inferiority, self-esteem, complacency, guilt and shame. Self-experience is often related to self-cognition and self-evaluation, and also to one's understanding of social norms and values. Good self-experience contributes to the development of self-monitoring.
3. Self-monitoring.
Self-monitoring is a person's self-control of his own behavior, thoughts and words, which is embodied in two aspects: one is to start action, and the other is to stop action, that is, to dominate a certain behavior and suppress behaviors that have nothing to do with it or hinder it.
