OEM is completed by the manufacturer from design to production, and the products are purchased by OEM after molding. Whether the manufacturer can produce the same product for the third party depends on whether the OEM buys out the design scheme.
ODM depends on whether the brand enterprise has bought out the copyright of the product. If not, as long as there is no design appraisal of the enterprise company, the manufacturer has the right to organize production by itself.
The difference between OEM and ODM
First, the technical content is different.
Traditional OEM production basically uses foreign technology, and there is no free technology, but ODM, a "new OEM", has realized some of its own technologies.
Second, the differences in profit distribution methods.
Traditional OEM only relies on cheap manpower to get low processing fees, while ODM has changed the way and proportion of profit sharing because of the investment of free technology.
