Xiazi Village is located in the northeast of jiande city, which is 10 km away from the center of Gantan Town. The whole village is formed by adjusting and merging the former Xiazi Village and Zhujiwu Village, with an area of 3.52 square kilometers and a population of1027,312. Tonglu in the east, Jiande Jinjiang Power Plant in the west and Hangzhou-Guizhou Expressway exit in the north. In recent years, the Party branch and village committee of Xiazi Village have been United and pragmatic, pioneering and enterprising, governing the village according to law, doing practical things for the people in a down-to-earth manner, and basically achieving a well-off life, clean village appearance, civilized rural customs and democratic management. In 2005, it was awarded as "Civilized Village in Hangzhou", "Party Branch of Wu Hao Village in jiande city" and "Demonstration Village of Party Construction" by Zhejiang Province. In 2007, it was named "Hangzhou Sports Town Sports Well-off Characteristic Village". It has been awarded the honorary titles of "Hangzhou Demonstration Village", "Hangzhou Landscaping Village" and "Hangzhou Excellent Sports Award" by the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for many times. Xiazi Village has undergone earth-shaking changes since it began to build a new countryside with Hangzhou characteristics. Xiazi Village has formed a road hardening, street lighting, environmental optimization, village beautification, people live and work in peace and contentment, and the quality of life is constantly improving. Drive along National Highway 320 to the central area of Gantan Town, and then walk along the old National Highway 320 for about 500 meters, at the entrance of Ziwu Village, Zhixia. When you enter Xiazi, you will see wide roads and uniform street trees on both sides. When you pass the octagonal pavilion, the seven characters "Welcome to Xia Zi" give people a kind feeling. If you drive straight ahead, you will find that the village is clean and tidy, with neat street lamps and lights. Further inside, on your left, you will see a unified new peasant village, which is the first stage of the new rural development introduced by the village. Adjacent to Xia Zi Park and Xia Zi Cultural Activity Center, there are sports fitness equipment, basketball court, table tennis table and other facilities in the park. All kinds of landscape trees flourish, and some of them have dazzling flowers, which have built a beautiful and harmonious picture with the whole landscape.

Xiazi Village is adjacent to Rebecca Village, Anren Village, Shi Pei Village, Xingfu Village, Shang Ling Village, Ganyi Village, Gantan Village, Zizhou Village, Pailou Village, Xiabao Village, Shaojia Village, Luocun Village, Xujiang Village and Qilong Village.

20 15 On February 28th, the Central Civilization Committee decided to award Xiazi Village the title of the 4th National Civilized Village.

There are many tourist attractions near Xiazi Village, such as terraced fields in Xu Ling ancient village, Qili Yang Fan in Fuchun River, Lingqi Cave, Daciyan and Lucky Island, as well as some specialties, such as Jiande Baocha, Liye An Baili, Yandongguan Wujiapi wine, Jiande strawberry and Qiandao Yinzhen.
