Introduction of hot melt adhesive
Hot melt adhesive consists of basic resin, tackifier, viscosity regulator and antioxidant. It is a solid at room temperature. When heated and melted to a certain temperature, it becomes a liquid with a certain viscosity. After melting, the hot melt adhesive is light brown or white.
The basic resin of hot melt adhesive is the polymerization of ethylene and vinyl acetate at high temperature and high pressure, which is mainly used in the production of shoes and hats. Clothes using this adhesive not only have a crisp and plump appearance quality, but also have the characteristics of natural smoothness after washing, and can be worn without ironing.
The working time of hot melt adhesive is generally around 15 seconds. With the wide application of modern production lines, the working hours of hot melt adhesives are getting shorter and shorter. For example, the working time of hot melt adhesive in book binding and speaker manufacturing is about 5 seconds.
