There are many kinds of skirts: one-step skirt, eight-piece skirt, flared skirt, cheongsam skirt ... A-line skirt is relatively simple and typical (close to the prototype of skirt). The A-line skirt introduced to my friends today is more traditional: the skirt length is about 155cm (height 160, a little below the knee), and the waist is medium (the skirt is high and low).

Usually cut the front membrane first. Skirt length = skirt length (because of the firmness of the skirt waist, there is no need to add welts to reduce the skirt length unless the skirt waist is particularly thin)

Hip circumference of front piece = hip circumference (hip circumference has been relaxed here) ÷4

Front waist circumference = waist circumference ÷4+ province (generally, the size of the province is 2cm~3cm)

Hip circumference is generally 15cm~ 17cm from the waist line. The size of the skirt depends on the style (the size of the skirt increases with the length of the skirt, please refer to the picture). Let's briefly talk about provinces: there are four or eight provinces in general skirts. If the customer has a small waist and a large hip, it is best to use eight provinces, and vice versa. The length of the province is proportional to the size of the province (the length of the province is generally 9~ 13cm, and the size of the province is generally 1.5~3.5cm).

This is a static sample. When cutting, sew 2cm on the side (in order to have room for modification, put more seams).
