What is the design concept of children's wear in the Winter Olympics?
Since the 1920 Olympic Games, "flying doves of peace" has been the core component of each opening ceremony, which is intended to express the dream and vision of building a peaceful and friendly world for mankind. In the design of the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Director Zhang Yimou proposed to use children's freestyle dance and children's chorus to jointly build a phalanx of love and snowflakes. Let the lively and lovely "little dove" sing the theme song on the small ice crystal. This program will be completed by 550 little pigeon angels and 160 children's choir.

Peace Pigeon Children's Wear takes the image of Chinese New Year pictures as the creative source, showing the innocence and vitality of China children in the new era. Clothing is based on white and decorated with China red (red represents the color of love). The visual elements of clothing come from Yuxian Paper-cut, a national intangible cultural heritage of China, which was created by the famous intangible paper-cut inheritor Ren Zhiguo. Graphic elements include: dove of peace, olive branch, snowflake, China National Ski Platform Center (Snow Ruyi), plum blossom, "Fu" and "Peace".

Chen Peng made a second creation according to Ren Zhiguo's paper-cut elements, and combined with the traditional door and window structure in China, the paper-cuts of "Peace" and "Blessing" were recombined to form a "new Chinese window structure". This also echoes the custom that the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will be held during the Lunar New Year in China and the Spring Festival in China, and stick grilles will bid farewell to the old and welcome the new. In production, flocking, brocade hollowing and embroidery are combined to highlight the hierarchy and structure of window grilles.
