The five-ring chain, also known as the Olympic five-ring symbol, is the most widely known Olympic symbol in the world. It consists of five Olympic rings, namely blue, yellow, black, green and red. The rings are nested from left to right, with blue, black and red rings above and yellow and green rings below. The overall shape is a regular trapezoid with a small bottom. Five rings of different colors represent the five continents participating in the modern Olympic Games-Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America.
