What's the meaning of the poem "The light shines on Pu Xian"?
"Wandeng Pu Xian" refers to the magical sight of many "magic lamps" offering sacrifices to bodhisattvas on Mount Emei, and it is also the name of this sacrificial activity: (Lamp, flower, incense, water, fruit, tea, food, treasure, pearls and clothes are the top ten offerings of Buddhism. Among them, lamp holder is the best, because in Buddhism, lamp represents light and wisdom, which can drive away darkness and ignorance. Monks in Emei Mountain inherited the feeling between heaven and man and imitated the holy lamp. In the past, sacred meetings were held every year, and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas were supported by bright lamps. The third of the ten wishes of Bodhisattvas was "extensive cultivation and support" for the benefit of all beings. ) The unprecedented Buddhist event "Ten Thousand Lights to Pu Xian" was excavated and restored at the end of 2002 after nearly a thousand years of loss in Emei Mountain. It is a special tourism project promoted by Mount Emei this year, which is held at Wannian Temple on the first and fifteenth (lunar) nights of each month. Since the event was held, it has been deeply loved and respected by believers and tourists from all walks of life, and received rave reviews.

First, Mount Emei's "magic lamp", also known as "Buddha lamp", is a unique and magical scene of Mount Emei. At night, floating magic lamps rise in clusters from the cliff of Jinding country, flying around temples and halls, such as stars and fireflies, sometimes one after another, from Xixiangchi scenic spot to Jinding, in a line. This kind of landscape has been called "Ten Thousand Lights Facing Pu Xian" since ancient times, which is spectacular and incredible. According to the eminent monks of past dynasties, this is the lamp that supports the bodhisattva in the sky.

2. The large-scale activity of "Pu Xian" was organized by Emei Mountain Buddhist Association and held at Wannian Temple in Pu Xian Central Dojo. On the night of the activity, there were Buddha lanterns, lotus lanterns, red lights, chandeliers, round lights, neon lights, hand-held wisdom lights and so on. Thousands of antique elegant lampholders made of precious ebony were put on a copper bowl to hold colorful lotus lanterns. The auspicious patterns of these lotus flowers are spectacular, making the whole temple a world of lights and a temple that stays up all night. Thousands of disciples chanted the name of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, held lotus lanterns of wisdom around the Buddha and dedicated themselves to Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, the great king of wisdom. The Dharma Association reappeared the grand occasion of that year and made people realize the mystery of the wonders of the ages, which was of great merit. This is the most solemn and sacred Buddhist event in Emei Mountain.
