Based on the school in the palace, the play tells the story of Ban Shu, an orphan girl from the grassland, who went to the palace after searching for her relatives for thousands of miles and was rejected by her people. She went through all kinds of hardships and finally cultivated into a generation of female fu who assisted the royal family.

Dramatic design

One of the main scenes of "The Legend of Banshu"-the shooting scene of the school is Han Street in Qin king Palace Scenic Area of Hengdian Film and Television City, and the cost of making this scene exceeds 1 10,000 yuan. From clothing to headdress design, every detail of The Legend of Banshu is based on the cultural relics unearthed in Mawangdui.

The scenery of the palace does not use gold, but chooses copper and wood to show the feeling of simplicity and elegance, including the uniform pink or blue uniforms of students, which will not be mixed with colorful ones. In terms of shooting techniques, the whole drama is shot against the light, and the western soundtrack with strong sense of rhythm is inserted.
