Chimonanthus praecox likes light, is slightly shade-tolerant, cold-resistant, drought-resistant, water-resistant, avoids clay and saline-alkali soil, and prefers fertile, loose, moist and well-drained neutral or slightly acidic sandy loam.

Maintenance method
