"Fairy Match" is a costume myth TV series jointly produced by China International Television Corporation, China Radio, Film and Television Program Trading Center, Beijing Wonderful Film and Television Culture Co., Ltd. and Anqing TV Station, and directed by Wu Jiadai.
The play is adapted from some stories in Jie's novel The True Story of the Seven Fairies and the folklore The Fairy Couple. It tells the love story between the seven fairies and Yong Dong.

The seven fairies in heaven longed for human life, so they stole the earth quietly with Qiaozui Zhang, the adopted daughter of the Queen Mother. After going down the mountain, the Seven Fairies met Yong Dong, who was enthusiastic about helping Liu Daxia, and they had a good feeling. In order to save Liu Daxia, the seven fairies deceived the fairy of the old gentleman, saved Liu Daxia's life and greatly increased their skills. Liu Daxia has thus become the patron saint of the seven fairies.
In order to stay on earth, the seven fairies and Qiaozui Zhang playfully forced Sophora japonica essence to pretend to be their father and form a family. The Jade Emperor learned that his daughter had come to the world without permission, so he ordered Lei Gong Dian Mu to arrest her.
