Introduction:

Figaro is getting married, and the bride is Susanna, the maid of the Countess of Lin Xiawei. The dissolute count was unfaithful to his wife, and tried every means to pursue Susanna and obstruct their marriage. Susanna is in a very difficult position, both to avoid the count and not to offend him publicly. With the help of Lin Xiawei and Figaro, she skillfully taught the count that he must apologize to his wife for his infidelity. Figaro and Susanna finally got rid of resistance and tied the knot.

The first scene is that Figaro and Susanna have just decorated half of their new house. The story took place in the middle of17th century, the official residence of Count Almaviva in the suburb of Seville, Spain. With the help of Figaro, the count got his wish and married Lin Xiawei (see The Barber of Seville). Now, Lin Xiawei has become the Countess of Alma Viva. Figaro was promoted to the count's squire because of his service to the count. In the house, he fell in love with the countess's maid Susanna, and Susanna fell in love with him. They fell in love and finally got ready to get married. But the count was dissolute, fond of the new and tired of the old, trying to get close to and flirt with Susanna, but there was no way. Susanna is Figaro's lover. He couldn't turn to Figaro for help this time, so he had to turn to his wife's music teacher, Basilio, but it didn't go well, until today-Figaro and Susanna's wedding date, but he still wanted to make further efforts to achieve his goal.

Susanna knows what the count thinks, but Figaro knows nothing. Susanna reminded Figaro to be careful of the count, or he would make a joke.

Doctor Bartholo and female guardian Marce Lina came on stage together. She was holding an early IOU from Figaro, which said that if Figaro could not pay back the money, she would marry her. Figaro is getting married tonight, and she asked the doctor for help. Basolo was the guardian of the Countess Lin Xiawei, and Lin Xiawei was taken in by Figaro and married by Count Alma Viva. He also wants to take this opportunity to get back at Figaro (as you will see later, in fact, Figaro is the illegitimate child of Bassolo and Masirina in his early years. )

The count's little servant, Chebino, asked Susanna for help. The count saw him tryst with Babalina, the gardener's daughter, the night before and threatened to drive him away. He asked Susanna to plead with his wife. When the count came, rubino had to hide behind an armchair. The count thought Susanna was the only one in the room, so he made love to Susanna with confidence. He didn't expect Basilio to come, so the count had to hide. Basilio came into the room and told Suzanne that the relationship between Chebino, a servant, and his wife was abnormal. Hearing this, the count immediately came out and asked him to explain what was going on. Three people sang a trio. The count remembered that he had caught Cupino last night, so he grabbed the clothes from the armchair and sang, "Easy, that guy …" But he found the little angel hiding there, which aroused the count's suspicion and anger.

Figaro came in with several farmers and flowers to pay tribute to the count, thanking him for canceling the first night right enjoyed by his servants when they got married. In front of everyone, the count had to approve. Susanna and Figaro pleaded with the count for Chedjou Pino, and the count asked him to go to the barracks to be a soldier and set off at once. Figaro encouraged Chedjou Pino to sing the famous aria "Don't Be a Lover" and walk out of the room with Chedjou Pino.

Act II The Countess Lin Xiawei's room.

The countess sighed in the room. She was sad that the count's love was getting colder and colder. Susanna and Figaro came in, and the three men discussed punishing the next count. Figaro went out to make some preparations, and Chedjou Pino came to say goodbye in military uniform. The power of attorney in his hand has not been stamped with the count's seal, which shows that it was written in a hurry. Susanna dressed Chedjou Pino as a beauty, ready to let him dress up as himself to teach the count a lesson. Then someone knocked at the door, and everyone guessed that the count was coming. It was the count who came in. He asked suspiciously, "Why did you lock the door?" He took out three forged letters to teach the count a lesson and asked who was in the room. Susanna hid behind the curtain and the three sang a trio. The count asked the lady in the living room. The lady said it was Susanna. The count asked the lady for the key to open the door. Susanna was worried that he saw the little angel inside. The lady refused to hand over the key, and the count went to get tools to smash the door. The little angel in the lounge couldn't come out, so she had to open the balcony window and jump out of it to escape. Susanna went into the lounge instead of him.

When the count and his wife returned to the room, the count slammed the door and saw that it was really Susanna. Both the count and his wife were taken aback, and the count who felt wrong had to apologize to his wife.

Antonio, the gardener, came to the stage with a broken flowerpot in his arms and said that a man had just jumped down from the window and smashed the flowerpot. Figaro said it was me. I just met Susanna and heard his master's voice. I'm sorry to see him.

Ma Serena, Bassolo and Basilio appeared. Mahirina told the count that Figaro should marry her according to the IOU. The count was very happy, which was exactly what he wanted. Figaro was depressed and Susanna was anxious.

Act III The living room of the Earl's House has been beautifully decorated for the wedding in the evening.

The countess and Susanna discussed the plan to teach the count a lesson in the evening. The countess asked Susanna to meet the count in the garden at night and asked Susanna to give him a letter. He's really trapped.

A trial was held to decide whether Figaro should pay off his debts or get married. This trial made Figaro's story more complicated. It turned out that Basolo and Mahirina were Figaro's biological parents, and the count was dumbfounded. Before the departure of Chichi rubino, Babalina, the gardener's daughter, begged the count to allow her to marry Chichi rubino. The wedding is coming, and the count is very anxious. He tried every means to catch Figaro, but he escaped easily.

In the evening of the fourth act, the scene is a garden with a pavilion on each side.

Figaro flew into a rage when he heard about Susanna's tryst with the count, but his mother, Mahirina, thought Susanna was not such a person.

Figaro asked Basilio and Bassolo to help him catch the Earl and Susanna in the garden. They think it is strange and seems unreasonable.

The countess and Susanna exchanged clothes and took to the stage. Susanna was very happy to find that the jealous Figaro was hiding nearby to eavesdrop. When the count appeared, he took the lady in Susanna's clothes as Susanna and courted her. When Figaro saw this scene, he immediately complained to Susanna in his wife's clothes, but when he heard the sound, he recognized Susanna. He made a mistake on purpose to express his love for his wife. Susanna got angry and forgot the role. Only then did she know that Figaro was joking with her and they made up. When the count came to power, Susanna resumed her lady's posture and deliberately became very affectionate with Figaro. The count thought he had caught them and shouted angrily, "Come out and have a look!" He whistled and everyone went up with torches. The count shouted, "Come out, adulterer!" Unexpectedly, Suzanne and Figaro, Babalina and Chedjou Pino, who are dating here, came out of the pavilion and came out of another pavilion in Suzanne's countess. The count realized that he had been taken in by them and was caught by his wife. Just now, he has said a lot of sweet words to that fake Susanna's wife. Now, he has to admit defeat and apologize to his wife.

All the people sang in unison, and Figaro's wedding began. In the lively and joyful atmosphere of the wedding reception, the whole scene was over.
