Is it better to use manual gear, P gear or aperture gear for the wedding follow-up?
Pure manual operation is recommended. I don't usually use flash with TTL. I only trust my eyes. Try the light first, it will be much smoother.

1.A+ file:

Also known as automatic transmission, it is the green sign on the turntable.

All the exposure of the scene is determined by the camera, which will automatically give you a reasonable exposure and automatically pop up the flash when the environment is dark. All you have to do is press the shutter.

The disadvantage is that nothing can be set, the desired blurred background can't be shot, the desired shutter speed can't be shot, and everything is random.

Suitable for capturing any scene, and photos can be taken under normal exposure.

2. Document P:

Also called programmed automatic exposure, unlike A+ gear, the camera only controls its aperture and shutter, while white balance, focusing, exposure compensation and ISO are all operable, so it is also a semi-automatic gear.

The disadvantage is that you can't control the depth of field and shutter speed, and you can't shoot the desired layering and special effects.

It is suitable for shooting without setting camera parameters. Basically, a picture with normal exposure can be taken, and the shooting effect is random.

3.AV/A document:

Also known as aperture priority mode, as the name implies, exposure balance is achieved by controlling aperture; Set the aperture value, the camera will automatically match the corresponding shutter speed to achieve exposure balance, and everything else can be set, also called semi-automatic gear.

The disadvantage is that the required shutter speed cannot be controlled.

It is suitable for shooting still life, portraits, landscapes and people who walk normally. It can control the depth of field well, blur the background and highlight the subject.

It can also control the image quality well. The aperture value F8-F 13 is the best, which is very useful when shooting scenery.

4.TV/S document:

Also called shutter priority mode, obviously, by adjusting the shutter camera, it will automatically match the size of the aperture to achieve exposure balance. Everything can be set except the aperture, which is also called semi-automatic gear.

The disadvantage is that you can't control the desired depth of field.

Suitable for shooting high-speed moving objects, which can instantly solidify the picture; You can also use the slow door to make a moving object look unreal and blurred. The most common is the streamer effect of slow door shooting night light.

5.m file:

Also known as manual exposure, everything such as aperture, shutter and ISO is set manually.

You can accurately set the aperture value and shutter speed to shoot the effect you want. For example, I want a high-speed shutter and a small aperture, which is already underexposed, so I use IS0 to make up for it.

The disadvantage is that the ambient light has changed and the exposure needs to be readjusted.

Suitable for shooting fixed objects in a fixed environment.

6. door b:

In this most special gear, the shutter speed is determined by the time you press the shutter. Professionals often use it to shoot the starry streamer effect, and some have to press it for hours.
