1943, Toyoji Takai named Murai's wolf fin fish as Murai's Asian fish. 1963, Liu Xianting, a fish expert from vertebrate paleontology Institute of Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, classified it as a genus of wolf fin fish, and called it Murai wolf fin fish. From 65438 to 0995, Jin Fan, a fish expert at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology, China Academy of Sciences, revised the pedigree of the fish and corrected some fallacies in the original morphological description. At the same time, it is pointed out that the fossil of Murai wolf fin fish is only found in Yixian Formation of Jingangshan in Yixian County, Liaoning Province.

The genus Manchuria currently includes three species: Manchuria (Manchuroche/yJmanchuensis). Manchurian tortoises in the East China Sea (such as the East China Sea) and Manchurian tortoises (Manchuria stone /yJliaoxiensis). Manchu tortoise 1942 was named by Japanese Endo and Shikama Tokio, and its orthographic specimen has been lost. Donghai Manchu tortoise was collected from raw coal of Donghai Coal Mine in Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province, and 1986 was named by Ma Shaoliang. Manchu tortoise in western Liaoning was named by Ji Shuanyu 1995 according to the data of Jianshangou fossil site in Shangyuan Town, beipiao city, Liaoning Province.
