When China entered a democratic society from a feudal society, although the country had long lost the existence of an emperor, some social customs did not change, and many people still married concubines, such as the famous painter Qi Baishi.
Qi Baishi's second wife, Hu Baozhu, is not noble. She is not suitable for Qi Baishi. The other party was just a rich girl, and later married Qi Baishi as a concubine. But for Hu Baozhu, Qi Baishi and the world are relatively recognized, so she often appears in front of the world as Qi Baishi's wife. At that time, if a woman was a concubine, it was generally impossible to do so. In order to get Hu Baozhu's approval, Qi Baishi even held a righting ceremony for her.
19 19, Hu Baozhu was only eighteen years old. Although she is a servant girl, she is a person with outstanding ability, and she is deeply liked by the old lady in the yamen, so she was adopted by the old lady. Because of this, as an adult, the Hu family decided to find a husband.
It was during this period that Qi Baishi came to Hu's home because of South Lake and got in touch with him. On one occasion, when Hu Nanhu was admiring a painting by Qi Baishi, Lentil Map, he liked it very much and joked with Qi Baishi that he would exchange a maid for this painting.
Qi Baishi didn't take Hu Nanhu's remark as a joke. He gave it to Hu Nanhu and finally married Hu Baozhu successfully. Of course, Hu Jia is not so heartless. Before they married Hu Baozhu to Qi Baishi, they discussed with each other.
After coming to Qi Baishi's hometown, Qi Baishi introduced Hu Baozhu to his family, and with the consent of his wife, he married Hu Baozhu as his concubine. In the next 25 years, Hu Baozhu served Qi Baishi wholeheartedly, giving him time to create with peace of mind. It is because of Hu Baozhu's caring ability that Qi Baishi had such a golden creation period of 25 years.
In addition to their feelings, Hu Baozhu also gave birth to five children for Qi Baishi. Unfortunately, this capable and gentle woman died in childbirth in 1944, which made Qi Baishi feel extremely painful.
