Introduction:
Subei, referred to as Subei for short, is located in the Yangtze River Delta with Shanghai as the leader, and is an important part of China coastal economic belt. Northern Jiangsu is dominated by plains, with a vast northern Jiangsu plain, governing rivers and seas, and controlling Huaihe lakes, with prosperous economy and developed transportation. According to the current administrative divisions of Jiangsu, northern Jiangsu includes Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Suqian, Huai 'an and Yancheng.
Geographical location:
Northern Jiangsu is located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, with a coastline of 744 kilometers, facing Japan and South Korea across the sea. Belonging to the Yangtze River Delta region headed by Shanghai, it is in an important position of north-south, eastward and westward. It is an important part of the national coastal economic belt.
Natural climate:
The whole region is in a humid monsoon climate with a transition from the north subtropical zone to the warm temperate zone, with an annual average temperature of 14.4℃, an annual average precipitation of 1000mm, and an annual sunshine duration of 2 130-2430 hours. It is rich in water and heat resources and has four distinct seasons, which is particularly pleasant.
