Xindu District, belonging to Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Xingtai City and at the east foot of Taihang Mountain, with a total area of 194 1 square kilometer. Xindu District has a long history. In the fourth year of the reign of King Zhou (372 BC), Zhao Chenghou was ruled by Xing and became the capital. In the twenty-sixth year of Qin Shihuang (the first 22 years1year), Qin Shihuang built a county and set it as Zhixindu County. In the fourth year of Emperor Gaozu (203 BC), Guo Xiang County moved. In the ninth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (589), Guo Xiang County was renamed Longgang County. In the second year of Song Xuanhe (1 120), Longgang County was changed to Xingtai County, Evonne City, Song Huizong. 1980 In March, with the approval of the State Council, Xingtai City established qiaoxi district. In June 2020, the State Council approved the renaming of qiaoxi district as Xindu District. It is agreed to cancel Xingtai County and put Xingtai County 15 township under the jurisdiction of Xindu District.
