Guang 'an Vocational and Technical College (Guang 'an calls &; Technical College, referred to as Guang 'an Vocational College for short, is a full-time public college founded by Sichuan Provincial Education Department and Guang 'an Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, a demonstration vocational college in Sichuan Province, and a construction institution approved by the construction planning (training) of high-quality vocational colleges in Sichuan Province.
Guang 'an Vocational and Technical College was founded in1906; In 2003, Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and Guang 'an Municipal People's Government decided to build Guang 'an Vocational and Technical College on the basis of the former Yuechi Normal School. On April 29th, 2004, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the establishment of Guang 'an Vocational and Technical College. In 2009, the school successfully passed the talent training level evaluation of the Ministry of Education.
20 1 1 The Sichuan Provincial Department of Education signed an agreement with the Guang 'an Municipal People's Government to jointly build a school, and the Ministry of Education signed an agreement with the Sichuan Provincial People's Government to jointly build a "Guang 'an Education Reform and Development Experimental Zone", which is an important project to support the development of the school.
On March 20 13, the school was integrated with Guang 'an Radio and TV University. On June 20 14, Guang 'an District Secondary Health Vocational and Technical School was merged into the school; 20 14 Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved the school to put up the brand of Guang 'an Technician College.
As of 202 1, 1, the school has four campuses, namely, Binjiang, Qianfeng, Kuige and Yuechi County, with a total area of 1000 mu, a total construction area of 480,000 square meters and a total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment of more than 90 million yuan.
At present, there are 10 secondary colleges, including intelligent manufacturing and energy engineering college, preschool education college, civil engineering college, economic management college, electronic and information engineering college, medical college, normal college, art college, Marxist college and international education college, with 47 higher vocational majors and more than 5000 full-time college students10. At present, there are more than 650 full-time and part-time teachers, including 2 10 associate senior and above, and 24/kloc-0 doctoral and master students.
