The 86th edition of Journey to the West, a childhood classic, is impressive so far. It tells the story that Tang Priest and his disciples went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures. There is indeed such a person in history, named Xuanzang, who went to India to learn from the scriptures today. In the same dynasty of Xuanzang, there was also a monk named Jian Zhen who traveled to Japan six times to spread Buddhism.

By the Tang Dynasty, we were already a big country with a good reputation overseas, and many people from other countries sent people to study. Japan is one of them, and Jian Zhen was invited by Japanese students to spread Buddhism. Today, you can also see many historical sites with the architectural style of the Tang Dynasty in Japan. Among them, Tang Zhaoti Temple is the best preserved Tang-style building.

Basic information

Tang Zhaoti Temple is located in Wujiao Xijing, Nara Prefecture, Japan. It took 1 1 year to build it in the 8th century, and it has a history of 1200 years. Zhao Ti Temple in Tang Dynasty was built by Jian Zhen himself after crossing the sea to Japan. It has the style of prosperous Tang Dynasty and is now one of Japan's national treasures.

The whole complex includes many buildings such as Jintang, Jingcang and Auditorium, among which the largest Jintang is one of the main halls of Zhao Ti Temple. Jintang is located on a stone foundation with a height of 1 m. The main shrine in the main hall is Lushenafo, which is 3.7 meters high, glittering and solemn. On both sides of this giant Buddha, you can also see the Buddha statue of Yamatonokusushi with thousands of hands.

After going to Zhao Ti Temple in the Tang Dynasty, you can see the temple gate above first? Tang Zhaoti Temple? Four big characters. We should be familiar with it. These four words are written in imitation of Wang Xizhi's font. After entering the door, you will pass a long staircase. When climbing the stairs, you can see the real portrait of Master Jian Zhen, but you are not allowed to take pictures.

At present, tickets for Tang Zhao Temple are divided into three grades, namely 600 yen, 400 yen and 200 yen for adults, middle school students and primary school students. 600 yen is almost equivalent to RMB in 40 yuan, which is still relatively cheap. In addition, there are some places in the temple that need to be charged, which are generally lower than the tickets.
