The main value of a good book
A good book is a folk art combining rap and singing. Since the form of Quyi was formed in Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, it has a history of 260 years and was once popular in Hubei, Henan, Sichuan, Hunan and other places. At present, only good calligraphers in Hanchuan inherit and develop this school. There are more than 300 songs in "Good Books in Hanchuan", and the singing has strong Jianghan Plain characteristics. There are currently 13 songs. "Good Books of Hanchuan" has attracted wide attention of scholars at home and abroad. The Good Book is also a rare book. One is that ancient books are superior to ordinary books or characters in academic or artistic value. For example, the cover letter of "Laughter in the Woods" is a bone tag on a piece of cloth, only the size of a matchbox. It has been circulating in the world for at least one hundred years, and I don't know how many people have turned it upside down. Finally, my bookcase has settled down. If it was porcelain, I'm afraid it would have broken into pieces in the long river of time. A folk prescription, a manuscript, I don't know who copied it, when and where. Is it an orphan for a famous doctor who has accumulated clinical experience all his life? The second category is the famous autograph book, which is the most valuable if collected. Zhang Zhongxing, a great scholar, didn't repeat his signature in many books he sent me. Great writers Wang Meng, Liu, Haoran, famous poets, Li Ying, famous writers, Bi Shumin, Shi Tiesheng, historian Bai Gang, etc. Reading every famous book is also a kind of enjoyment, that is, just look at whether the signature is handsome, rigid, clumsy or chic. The origin of Hanchuan's "good book" and Jiangcheng Wuhan and the memory of the late "good book" expert Wang Yuanxiang

Before liberation, during the period from the first ten days of July to the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar every year, a small table was set up temporarily at sunset in the shantang in the streets and lanes of Wuchang, Hankou and Hanyang, with a long square table in front and a "wind lantern" on the left and right. On the left and right sides of the table stood a gentleman in a white summer dress, saying "good books" one by one. At that time, the most famous "good book" joke was "playing reed flowers", saying that the clothes that stepmother made for his ex-wife's son were not cotton, but reed flowers, and the children were shivering with cold. His father hit the child with a stick. As a result, after the cold coat was broken by a stick, he found that it was not cotton, but reed flowers. Therefore, the father and son cried bitterly and hated the woman for being too cruel. Other "good book" jokes include Looking Around Henan and Mill Life.

After the reform and opening up, at the end of 1983, Hubei Quyi Circle held the second Baihua Book Fair in Hankou, and Hanchuan's Good Book was later performed as a program of Xiaogan regional team in People's Paradise. The new "Good Book" refreshed the audience. First of all, the content was innovated, jumping out of the circle of simply persuading goodness in the past, but promoting new people and new things in real life such as family planning; Reforms have also been made in form, changing the "one talk and one announcement" of two actors in the past into "one talk and two singing" of one man and two women, and adding music accompaniment, which not only inherits, develops and innovates the elegant artistic style of Good Book, but also won warm applause from Wuhan audience. There is a festival drama "Yong Dong's Parting" on at the theatre. In the evening, river lanterns are sent to various good halls, gongs and drums are loud, and' good books' are circulated in the streets. Speaking of' good books' is to persuade people to do good deeds, which is conducive to social stability. Therefore, good churches advocate' good books', and most of the lecturers are highly respected celebrities and don't receive remuneration. 193 1 year, Wuhan was flooded, and a large number of semi-professional' good books' artists trapped in Jiangcheng and Hanchuan came to the Han group class to say' good books' to make a living. At that time, there was a murder case in Haizi in Caidian Town, Hanyang County, and someone compiled it into a' good book' called "One mouthful of blood". The' good book' artists in Hanchuan seized the book and made a big fuss about it. Their speeches made the listeners cry and attracted a large audience of Wuhan workers. There is a teahouse called Win Taiwan in Sanshu Street, Hankou. Pan and Wang Haiyuan, the "good books" of Hanchuan, are invited to perform in the hall. 1935 to 1943. It can be seen that Wuhan listeners love the genre of' good books'. "Hanchuan good books have more than 300 excellent masterpieces, and 100 is often told. There are more than 300 people who specialize in preaching and creating good books in Hanchuan.

In the new century, influenced by the impact of foreign culture and the rise of multiculturalism, and the death of some accomplished old artists, young people can be unique and some excellent tracks are on the verge of being lost. At present, the inheritance and development of Hanchuan's good books have encountered unprecedented difficulties, with the loss of young artists' files and serious loss of traditions, which urgently need support and protection.
