Boxing county has a long history. The Longshan cultural sites excavated in Licheng, Cungao, Caojia and other villages prove that as far back as 4000 years ago (Neolithic Age), the territory was already a patriarchal society and a densely populated area. In the Spring and Autumn Period, it was Bochangyi (so the address was in the south of Zhaihao Village, Zhaihao Township) and Le 'anyi (so the address was in the old county). Bochang County, Le 'an County and Qiancheng County were established during the Warring States Period. Because of this, the Qin Dynasty belonged to Qi County.
