Feidong County belongs to Hefei City, Anhui Province, with Nanjing in the east, Chaohu Lake in the south, Hefei in the west and Bengbu in the north. Feidong is known as "the hometown of Bao Gong and the crossroads of Wu Chu", with Chaohu Lake, one of the five largest freshwater lakes in China, and Fu Cha, one of the eight scenic spots in ancient Luyang. The former site of the General Front Committee of Du Jiang Campaign, a national key cultural relics protection unit, and the Jin Dong Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall, the fourth detachment of the New Fourth Army of Hefei Qinglong Factory, are Feidong's "red business cards". He Changlin Town, the only hometown of overseas Chinese in Anhui Province, has trained more than 800 professors, experts and generals, 4,500 overseas Chinese and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and still retains the characteristic Anhui Middle Street with a history of more than 200 years.
Feidong County is located in the middle of Anhui Province, bordering Chaohu Lake in the south, Chaohu City, Nanqiao District and Quanjiao County in the east, Yaohai District, Baohe District, Changfeng County and Feixi County in Hefei City in the west, and Dingyuan County in the north. It is located between east longitude11719 ′-1752 ′ and north latitude 3134 ′-3216 ′, with a total area of 22 16 km2.
