Shijing Temple is located in Tiancheng Mountain at the east foot of the middle section of Longquan Mountain, in Shijing Temple in Chadian Town, Longquanyi District. Shijing Temple, which covers an area of more than 200 mu, is built on the mountain. Temples and courtyards are layered and shaded by trees. There has always been a magical landscape of "all trees cover the sky" and "looking at the stone classics for half a day". Shijing Temple was built in the Eastern Han Dynasty (189-2 14), when Ada and Liu Zhang were separated in Sichuan. It used to be a eunuch's private residence, but later it was donated to a temple called Lingyin Temple.
In the Tang dynasty, temples began to be built and began to take shape. In the Ming Dynasty (1436 to 1449), Master Chushan, a monk from Hubei Province, presided over this temple at the invitation of King Shu and renamed it "Tiancheng Temple". In the thirty-second year of Qianlong (1767), Song Siren, a Taoist priest in Jianzhou, gave the temple a diamond sutra and renamed it "Shijing Temple". ?
Second, Longquan Lake
It is a medium-sized lake formed by diverting water from Minjiang River, which looks like a dragon with a total water area of 8,300 mu and a coastline. Longquan Lake Scenic Area is characterized by "flower viewing, water playing, leisure and vacation, training and recuperation".
The main attractions are: Taohua Island, Chang 'e Island, Sanhui Island, Taohuaxi Resort, Qiguling, Shilichangxia, Wadeng Temple, Golden Opera, Qin Ying Bend and Yangfo Mountain. Among all the islands in Longquan Lake, the most famous and popular is Island 3. Island 3 is mainly composed of Animal Island, Peacock Garden, Sichuan Hydropower Rehabilitation Center, Lanyu Island and Dinosaur Island.
Third, the ancient town of Luodai
The pattern can be summed up in one sentence: "One street, two temples and three halls, Luodai Park Museum", which is connected by one street and seven lanes, forming a complete transportation system and a complete defense system of the ancient town, with typical Hakka architectural characteristics. Along the street is a typical Hakka residence, which basically retains the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty.
This street bends from east to west and was originally paved with slate. There are many shops on both sides of the street, and behind the pavement are mostly small quadrangles with deep houses, with bungalows and wooden houses interlaced. There are many well-preserved historical sites, such as Millennium Old Street, Ming and Qing Houses, Hakka Guild Complex and Jinlong Temple. The annual "Water Dragon Festival" and "Fire Dragon Festival" are characteristic folk activities passed down by Hakkas.
Four, the Buddhist temple "falling stone carving"
Located in Dafo Village, Shanquan Township, Longquanyi District, Chengdu, the Buddhist temple descended from the sky. Among many stone carvings, the North Zhou Wenwang Monument is the most precious. Because rubbings were highly respected in the past dynasties, this stone tablet, located at the lower part of the rockfall and carved in the first year of Xiao Min in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (557), is different in color and depth from all the surrounding stone carvings.
The monument is 2.24m high and1.25m wide. The head of the monument is a continuous pattern composed of Suzaku and a small relief Buddha. The inscription 1348 in regular script mainly describes the life and achievements of Yu Wentai, the founder of the Northern Zhou regime.
