Glow sticks are a mixture of two chemicals that emit light through reaction. An important component of glow stick is fluorescent dye. Luminescence is a component made of dye in the glass tube, which reacts with medicine in the plastic tube and emits light, so the liquid flowing out is the original color. The color of blue is different. The blue liquid is colorless, that is, transparent, like water.
Most of the fluorescent sticks are strip-shaped, wrapped in polyethylene and embedded with a glass tube interlayer. The liquids inside and outside the interlayer are peroxide and ester compounds, respectively. After bending, beating and rubbing, the glass is broken, causing the two compounds to react to make the fluorescent dye glow. Glow sticks can be used for entertainment, night fishing, wedding, outdoor, military, engineering construction, underwater operation and so on.
