Inner Mongolia Baiyin Aobao Nature Reserve is located in the northwest of Hexigten Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, 75km west of Peng Jing Town, adjacent to Haihe River in the northeast, Bayanchagan Sumu in the northwest, Baiyin Aobao Forest Farm in the southeast, and Dalinuoer Grassland in the west and southwest. The eastern boundary of the reserve starts from Sidaoshimen to Henglishantou in the south, Xiaoshuangshanzi of Biliu River in the south, the riverbank and fire line of Wudaoshimen Reservoir in the north, the fire line in the west and Biliu River in the south. The landform of Baiyin Aobao National Nature Reserve in Inner Mongolia belongs to the dune plateau plain landform. The terrain is high in the south and low in the north, with Baiyin Aobao Mountain in the south as the highest point, with an altitude of 1, 498.8 meters, gradually decreasing to the north, with little topographic fluctuation. The flora of Baiyin Aobao National Nature Reserve in Inner Mongolia belongs to Pan-Arctic flora, Eurasian grassland flora subregion and East Mongolia subregion. However, because the area is adjacent to Daxing 'anling and northern Hebei, the flora is transitional, and the Mongolian grassland plants are the main ones, such as Stipa baikal, Stipa grandis, Pterocarya sibirica, Spiraea lineata and Leymus chinensis. It is called "sacred tree in the sand" and "emerald on the grassland" by local herders. Plant species are rich and diverse. Forest grassland landscape

Sandy landscape

Gong Geer River is located on the north side of the reserve, and Aobao River meanders through the south edge of the reserve. The river is clear and endless, with green grass on both sides, like two silvery white ribbons, decorating the whole spruce community into a mosaic of forests, grasslands and rivers.

Baiyin Aobao Mountain (translated as Woshan in Chinese) in the nature reserve is one of the five Aobao in Keshiketeng Banner, and it is a sacred place for Mongolian sacrifices on the grassland of Gong Geer.
