How to distinguish superficial phlebitis from deep phlebitis
Clinically, we usually divide phlebitis into superficial phlebitis and deep phlebitis according to the different lesion sites, and their symptoms are different in different degrees.

1. Superficial phlebitis: Superficial phlebitis mostly occurs in the superficial veins of limbs or chest, and there is swelling and pain like hard cord along the superficial veins, which is 2-5 cm short and looks like wicker, with obvious tenderness. Some of them are accompanied by redness and burning inflammation around veins. After about 2-4 weeks, the acute symptoms are gradually relieved, which can be attached to the skin in strips or deposited into strips of taupe pigment. Generally, there is no edema in the affected limb and no edema in the body.

2. Deep phlebitis: The symptoms of deep phlebitis are mainly manifested in calf, thoracic vein and femoral vein. The former is leg swelling, while the latter is mainly leg swelling. The pain of the affected limb is cylindrical, and walking is intensified. There are impression marks at the distal end, the skin is grayish white and purple, and the superficial veins are obviously dilated. After about 65,438+0 ~ 2 months, the swelling and pain of the affected limb can be gradually relieved, but the swelling tends to be serious.
