Powerful algorithm automatically beautifies, optimizes HDR, renders themes, eliminates noise, blurs background and makes colors silky. You can see the comparison between Nikon camera shooting in Populus euphratica forest in Taklimakan desert and Xiaomi 1 1ultra (hereinafter referred to as 1 1u) automatic mode. Obviously, in this scene, the optimization is perfect. If I adjust Nikon photos to 1 1u color later, it will take some time.
However, in the case of complex lighting, this optimization is maddening. Because I trusted the automatic mode too much at that time, I overturned in the same mode when I was filming "Dance of Cooking". The red overflow on the actor's face is ugly, and it is difficult to adjust it later.
The scenes taken before and after the stage also use automatic mode. Because the light in the scene and the clothes of the characters are complicated, the algorithm of white balance and color is obviously wrong, and a very strange color is obtained.
Because the automatic mode is unstable and difficult to master, the color of the picture depends on luck, so it is recommended to avoid using the automatic mode for more rigorous shooting. On the other hand, in order to pursue exquisite image quality, I am worried about the soaring ISO movement in automatic mode. I need to control ISO around 100, and the function of "locking ISO" can only be realized in professional mode.

The CMOS dimensions of the three lenses behind 1 1u are different except the focal length. So don't expect all three lenses to perform equally well, which is different from zoom cameras. No matter how wide it is, it is a "fisheye" lens, which is unacceptable. 12mm is used for shooting buildings and indoors, and the lines are not distorted, so it is suitable for shooting many scenes.
12mm is used as the auxiliary lens of11u. Because CMOS is only 1/2 inches, the picture quality is worrying. Wide-angle lens is used to make narrow places spacious, but narrow places are usually short of light. If you are not careful, ISO will soar above 800, so many times you can't expect the wide-angle lens of 1 1u to bring amazing and delicate picture quality. But even so, 1/2-inch CMOS is still relatively large in the same class of mobile phones.
The reason why the 12mm lens made me lose my money was: "The wide angles of 14 and 16mm are usually seen in similar competing products". This has to be praised by the designers of11u. Although the difference is only 2mm, the experience of making good use of wide angle tells me that there is a lot of information during this period. Especially when shooting 4k quality, electronic anti-shake will cut off a part of the picture. At this time, 12mm becomes 14mm (or above), while the lens of the original 14mm mobile phone becomes 16mm (or above). The wide angle has shrunk, resulting in a considerable gap between 16mm and 14 mm, so to discuss the practicability of 12mm lens on 1 1u, I think the design of 12mm is already a wide-angle ceiling.
12mm wide angle played a great role in shooting songs and dances in Gangtuo Town, Changdu, Tibet, because Party A invited many media at that time, and the super wide angle gave me more pictures and a better sense of presence. When shooting the backstage of the song and dance concert in Luobu Village, Yuli, Xinjiang, the scene was saved from a wide angle in time because of the narrow space.
120mm: This 120mm periscope telephoto should be the most discussed one. I think this lens is the most difficult to use and I want to use it most, so I love and hate it.
Often twitching, focusing on the crotch automatically in the dark environment, resulting in poor picture quality, shaking the hand-held shooting picture badly, and accidentally shooting flowers. But this focal segment is really great. The sneak shot has good concealment and strong visual compression, which brings a lot of freshness.
But in order to take good photos with it, I have to prepare a stabilizer, tripod and fill light. 1 1u's portability is lost because of this telephoto lens. But then again, after all, it is worth tossing to be able to shoot 8k quality.
120mm periscope telephoto is more useful in shooting Tibetan mountains and rivers, and telephoto saves physical strength, no doubt. But when catching wild ducks, the focus seems to be insufficient. Shooting at random in a speeding car is not so smooth. Often out of focus, videos and photos are difficult to take. If you change to the other two shots, it will be done in an instant.
The reason why periscope telephoto is difficult to operate is also the ceiling of camera technology today. You know, to achieve such an optical effect, the weight of the body and lens of a Quan Huafu SLR is about 1 kg.
From the hardware point of view, the telephoto lens of a mobile phone is like "painting on a grain of rice". Compared with ordinary telephoto lenses, periscope lenses are more complicated in structure and more expensive in cost, which is contrary to the thin and light feel pursued by mobile phones (digital zoom will be easier). This is also the stubbornness of11u. In order to forcibly implant the function of hard-core camera, we will not hesitate to "disfigure".
About aperture: As we all know, the aperture of mobile phone camera is constant. Of the three shots of 1 1u, only the main shot emphasizes the large aperture of f/ 1.95. The aperture values of the other two auxiliary lenses are unknown. This also shows that this value has nothing to show off in these two shots, and it is incredible to make it.
Finally, compare it with another popular camera phone "Sony Xperia PRO-I" recently. Its three lenses are 16mm, 24mm and 50mm respectively. Compared with millet's 12mm, 24mm, 120mm, the burnt segment with insufficient span is just like itching. Compared with the design difficulty, 1 1u is obviously better.
