Sainaim is the most common folk dance of Uighurs, which is widely spread in towns and villages in the north and south of Tianshan Mountain.

Sainaim is an indispensable part of daily life of Uighurs. Whenever Uighurs celebrate festivals, weddings, and gatherings of relatives and friends, they will hold a Maixilaifu party, where they will enthusiastically dance the Sainem dance to celebrate.

Sainaim has a long history and a long history. It mainly originated from an oasis in southern Xinjiang, which is engaged in agricultural life, inhabited by ethnic groups and developed in culture.
