Shifoshan is located in Yaocun Township, Langxi County, with a main peak of 353 meters. Shifoshan, also known as Shifoling, is steep and surrounded by white clouds. There are three huge stones at the top of the mountain, which are shaped like stone buddhas. According to legend, in the seventh year of the Tang Dynasty (7 19), Jin Qiaojue, the prince of Silla, became a monk when he was young, crossed the ocean and entered the Tang Dynasty, and traveled around the world to find Zhuoxi (the place where monks lived and practiced). One golden autumn, I came here and saw three huge stones on the top of the mountain, just like three giant buddhas. I'm going to stand here and ask the woodcutter the name of this mountain. The woodcutter replied: "This giant Buddha can hold 33 feet of clouds with both hands, and people call it' stone Buddha holds clouds'." The prince thought that the Buddha's head could not make Zhuo Xi, so he left to look for Zhuo Xi elsewhere.
The northern slope of the mountain is steep, the Shan Zhinan slope is gentle and easy to climb, and the top of the mountain is flat. On the mountain, pines, cypresses, bamboos and bamboos form forests, and strange and dangerous rocks are rugged and changeable, as big as houses, and abound. These dangerous stones have weathered for many years, forming a spectacle. The world can be summarized into ten stone scenes: Tuoyun Stone, Monk Stone, Living Buddha Stone, Toad Stone, Scarab Stone, Muyu Stone, Wall Stone, Qichi Stone, Flat Peach Stone and Chest Stone. The "living Buddha stone" more than ten feet high between the rocks on the top of the mountain is like a peach, and it is like sitting on a Buddha and leaning on a stone. The mountain wind is slightly stronger, and this stone shakes, commonly known as "pneumatic stone". Tourists shake this stone with their hands, which is also called "living stone".
On the south slope, a huge rectangular toad-singing stone, also known as Ding Stone, hangs over the smooth stone wall, giving people the feeling of falling at the touch, but it is as steady as Mount Tai with a hard push. The "strange stone" is a row of the largest boulders near the top of the mountain on the way up the mountain. It looks like an iron wall. When the weather is clear and the sky is clear in Wan Li, you can climb high and overlook, and you can see the sparkling sails of Nanyi Lake, the traffic in langxi, Guangde and Xuanzhou, and the mountains and rivers. ? Huiming Temple was built at the top of the mountain in the early Qing Dynasty, with 99 brick and wood structures. Carving beams and painting buildings, lettering in gold, simple and elegant, magnificent architecture. During the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it was a small Buddhist center in southeast Anhui, commonly known as "Xiaojiuhua Scenic Scenic Area". Throughout the year, pilgrims from neighboring provinces and counties come in an endless stream. On the 30th day of the seventh lunar month, pilgrims and businessmen came and were very busy. There is an ancient stage in the west of the temple, and in front of it is a trapezoidal stage. There are three ginkgo trees 5 meters away from the temple gate, and there are two existing ones, one female and one male, which are tens of feet high and more than 2 feet dbh, with graceful crowns. There is a spring beside the tree, crystal clear, and it will not dry up after a long drought.
