Where is Luquan Lotus Mountain?
Lianhua Mountain is located 2 kilometers west of Luquan City, bordering Baodu Village, a wonderful village in the world in the north, North China Plain in the east and Han Xin Village and Tumen in the south. Egret fountain is in the southwest. The whole mountain is north-south, with an altitude of 518m, which is a typical syncline mountain structure. The upper part is steep and straight, like a knife and axe. Looking from the eastern plain, it looks like a natural barrier across the sky, which is a spectacle.

Lianhua Mountain belongs to Taihang Mountain range, the mountain is limestone, and stalactites are developed in caves and concave "plate kilns" to varying degrees. What is more prominent is the stalactite hanging from a tens of meters high "pan kiln" in the south of Shanxi Province, which looks like a lotus flower, hence the name Lotus Mountain.

Lianhua Mountain and Han Xin Village are two identical bodies, and the upper part is nearly 100 meters apart. Lotus Hill is in the north and Han Xin Village is in the south. On the hillside on the east and west wings of the gorge, the vegetation is lush and the scenery is wonderful. Dongpo has a stone ladder dug by the ancients, which runs from the foot of the mountain to the gap. There are buildings such as Lingxiao Pavilion under the stone ladder, and the stone ladder will pass through you. There is a Tongxiao Pavilion at the gap. Go through it and the stone ladder turns to the west slope. Follow the stone steps to Notre Dame and san huang Temple.

Notre Dame, also called Bi Xia Temple, is built on a platform of about three acres, with three rooms facing south and a slope. It was built according to the sinking "plate kiln", and the temple is a cave, which is unique. Bi Xia Yuan Jun is enshrined in a temple, also known as Empress Bi Xia. On the east side of the temple, there is a pool with a diameter of 1.5 meters, commonly known as "lotus pond", and the famous lotus-shaped stalactites are hung above the pool. The front hall of the temple is spacious, with three east wing rooms, where Taoist priests live. There is a mountain gate in front of the temple. There is a stone tablet tee in the courtyard, which is placed on the side.

Han Xin Zhai, with the same name as Lianhua Mountain, is more steep and famous in history. There is an article "Han Xin Shan" in Taiping Magnolia in the Northern Song Dynasty: Sui Tu Jing says: "Han Xin Shan is a magnificent mountain, commonly known as Han Xin Terrace and Tumenkou. West into Jingxing, that is, to Taiyuan Road, is also the case. And Han Xincheng, who broke Zhao's letter, was stationed here. "Jin Yuan Hao Wen" poem "Luquan New Residence" also has the sentence "Wang Hanzhai has a wide head and is only a few meters away", which shows that its name comes from Han Xin's invasion of Zhao Ceng and its garrison here. According to the records of Huolu County in Qing Dynasty, there is also a "horse-tied pile" on the mountain, which is the place where Han Xin tied his horse.

There is also a scenic spot halfway up the mountain on the south side of Hanxin Village-Laojun Cave, which turned out to be a natural cave. The ancient people in the cave carved three stone statues, such as Taishang Laojun, hence the name "Laojun Cave". The cave faces south, and the entrance is a stone coupon arch with a width of 3.8 meters and a height of 2.7 meters. The plane inside the cave is square, with a depth of 8. 1 m from north to south and a height of 6 meters each. It is 40 meters long from east to west, 2. 1 meter high and 4 meters wide. Statues of three old gentlemen and servants are carved on the stone wall opposite the cave gate. There is a stone altar in front of the statue, engraved with the words "Eleven Years of Wanli in Ming Dynasty", "Tumen Village, Huolu County, Zhending Prefecture, Baijiayao" and so on. This shows that the stone statue was made in the Ming Dynasty.

There are ancient pavilions and temples in front of Laojun Cave. In the Qing Dynasty, the Records of Huolu County contained Xie Degui's "The South Building of Laojundong", which described the construction of the pavilion and the scenery of the four seasons. This is a great gift. At that time, the building was divided into two floors, the lower part was a flat arch roof with three arches, and the back part of the building was connected with Laojun Cave, which was in the form of a front building and a back hole. The upper part is a hard mountain tile roof. There are three halls around the building. Today, all pavilions and temples have been destroyed, leaving only ruins and foundations. The stone statue in the cave has no head. The stone tablet engraved with the dragon claw pine painted by the order of Huolu County in Qing Dynasty has been moved to Xitumen Village for protection.
