Lan Huahua, formerly known as Ji Yanling and nicknamed Ye Zi, was born in a peasant family in Lin Town, Nanchuan, Yan 'an in 19 19. She grew up ingenious, delicate and lovely, and at the age of sixteen, she was graceful, like a hibiscus emerging from the water, and as lovable as a Malanhua after the rain. People gave her a nickname "Orchid". There is a soldier in the Red Army. He fell in love with Lanhuahua at first sight, secretly loved it, and vowed to stay with him for life. Soon they got involved. Because the Red Army was ordered to go to Shanxi for the Eastern Expedition, the Red Army soldiers had to bid farewell to Lanhuahua temporarily.

Lan Huahua's parents thought that their daughter had ruined the family style, so they asked the matchmaker to give Lan Huahua, who was 17 years old, to Ren Xiaoxi, the youngest son of a rich man in the back street of Linzhen Town. Lan Huahua refused and was carried into Ren's home under the threat of her parents. Ren Xiaoxi did everything he could to eat, drink, go whoring and gamble, and was later executed for robbery and murder in Yichuan. They were very sad to learn that Lanhuahua was forced to get married, but they were afraid of getting involved with Lanhuahua, so they dared not visit Lanhuahua, only suffering in their own hearts. Later, I heard that Lanhuahua died of illness, and she was heartbroken and could not afford to get sick. In the hospital treatment, I secretly conceived a song of acacia that missed orchids. After leaving the hospital, he happened to be transferred to Gulin County (now Linzhen Town, Yan 'an City) as a clerk. Soon, he was transferred to Gulin County Primary School as the teaching director. He still missed the orchid flower, sorted out the Orchid Flower Song (84 sentences) he wrote when he was in hospital, and changed Ren Jia to Zhou Jia. Teach students dolls and villagers to sing and recite. "Orchid flower" soon spread in Gu Lin, Yan 'an, Yichuan and Suide. After being collected and sorted by Lu Yi musicians in Yan 'an, it quickly spread throughout the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region and the north and south of the Yangtze River. After the national liberation, it spread all over New China and overseas.
