The origin of Qingchuan in Cangzhou
Qingchuan and Cangzhou are a place name in Hebei Province, China. It is located in the middle of Hebei Province, bordering Bohai Sea in the east and Beijing and Tianjin in the west. It is a prefecture-level city in Hebei Province and one of the political, economic, cultural and transportation centers in Hebei Province. Qingchuan has a long history, and there were traces of human activities as early as the Warring States Period. During the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to the territory of Zhao State. With the development of history, Qingchuan successively belonged to the Northern Wei Dynasty, the Northern Zhou Dynasty, the Sui Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty and other dynasties, and was once called "Xuzhou" and "Zezhou".
