Introduction of Shengzhou Blowing and Beating
Shengzhou percussion music is one of the main components of "East Zhejiang gongs and drums". "Dong Zhe gongs and drums" generally refers to the traditional folk instrumental music of the Han nationality in eastern and southern Zhejiang (commonly known as "advocacy"). The difference between it and "Sizhu Music" is mainly manifested in the use of rough instruments such as suona, pioneer and trumpet in the arrangement of the band. Percussion music in eastern Zhejiang has a long history, which is recorded in Dream Record in Song Dynasty and Dream of Taoan in Ming Dynasty. On May 20th, 2006, Shengzhou Chuida was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
