For China people, Hongqi is not only a famous automobile brand, but also a deep feeling and sacred memory. For FAW people, the red flag is a strong responsibility and historical mission. In the 1960s and 1970s, the red flag car was a banner of China automobile industry.

After the reform and opening up, "Red Flag" began the process of marketization while continuing to undertake the heavy responsibility of "national car". On April 25th, 20 18, the Hongqi brand made its independent debut at the Beijing Auto Show for the first time in history, and the high-end B-class car Hongqi H5 was listed in shock.

On February 4th, 20 19, Hongqi HS5 was officially unveiled at Changchun (FAW) Sub-venue of CCTV Spring Festival Evening on 20 19, and was officially listed during Changchun International Marathon on May 26th, 20 19. On July 19 and 12, Hongqi HS7 Changchun International Automobile Culture Festival and the first Hongqi Carnival were held in Changchun, during which Hongqi HS7 was also listed.
