Longwan District Yongzhong Baishui Folk Museum
The folk museum is mainly divided into six parts: production customs, business customs, handicraft customs, life customs, wedding etiquette, New Year customs and sacrificial ceremonies.
There are more than 500 folk exhibits in the museum, most of which are donated by the people. The cultural relics and materials in the museum are precious and have high historical research value. The research on the folk culture in Longwan area has been promoted to the Tang Dynasty about 1200 years ago. It fully reflects the agriculture, salt industry, fishery, commerce, handicrafts, marriage customs, old customs and sacrifices of the residents in Longwan Yongqiang area during the Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. It is not only Wenzhou, but also the epitome of early folk culture and economic development in Zhejiang.
