River bottom introduction
Hedi Town is located at the northern foot of Liubei Mountain in Taihang Mountain. Before the Republic of China, it belonged to Pingding House, which was called "Qinglong Town" in ancient times. Historically, it was the center of political, economic and cultural activities, and also the commodity distribution center in the northern part of the state. Yangyu Highway, 207 national highway Highway and Di Wei Highway pass through the town, and Beijing-Kunming Expressway and Wu Yang Expressway pass through the territory, so the traffic is very convenient. The town government is located at the bottom of the river, 20km away from the urban area and10km away from the district government. The town governs 32 administrative villages, with a total land area of 102.23 square kilometers, a total population of 17984 households and a total population of 50 100 people, including 37,200 agricultural population and 65,500 non-agricultural population. Hedi village has more than 2,000 households with more than 8,000 people (including more than 5,000 agricultural people), with a total area of 6.3 square kilometers and a village area of 4 square kilometers. In recent years, the village has vigorously implemented the five strategies of "economically affluent village, civilized village, well-planned village, harmonious village and democratic village", and the villagers' material and cultural living standards have been greatly improved.
