Where is Zunyi?
Zunyi is a city in Guizhou. Zunyi, referred to as "Zun" for short, is a prefecture-level city and sub-central city in Guizhou Province and an important city in the urban agglomeration in central Guizhou. It is located in the southwest of China, north of Guizhou, south of Guiyang, north of Chongqing and west of Sichuan. Southwest China is an important transportation hub connecting north and south, connecting east and west, and connecting the river with the sea. The core area and main corridor of Chengdu-Chongqing-Guizhou Central Economic Zone, the bridgehead, main position and pioneer area of cooperation between Guizhou and Chongqing. The territory belongs to subtropical monsoon climate, which is cool and humid all year round. The city has jurisdiction over 3 districts, 7 counties, 2 ethnic autonomous counties, 2 escrow cities 1 new district. The development of history in ancient times, people flourished in Zunyi area. The human tooth fossils found in the Paleolithic human cultural site in Yanhuidong, Tongzi County are scientifically judged to be 206,000-240,000 years ago. During the Spring and Autumn Period around the 8th-5th century BC, the areas under the jurisdiction of Zunyi City successively belonged to China, Pakistan, Shu, Trionyx sinensis, Pomfret and other countries. During the Warring States Period, the present Zunyi area belonged to Yelang State. In the fifth year of Yuanguang in the Western Han Dynasty (before 130), Qianwei County was established, and the county ruled other counties, that is, near Zunyi City today. In the sixth year of Dingyuan (1 1 1), Yelang established Zhangke County, and the name of Yelang country, which existed as a country for more than 250 years, disappeared. In the 13th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (639), Langzhou in the Sui Dynasty was renamed Bozhou, governing northern Guizhou. The name Bozhou lasted for 962 years from Song and Yuan Dynasties to the end of Ming Dynasty. At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Yang Wengui, a native of Bozhou, devoted his land to his career. During the Southern Song Dynasty (1239), it belonged to Kuizhou Road, one of the four roads in Xia Chuan. Yuan is from Bozhou Propaganda Department. Ming Hongwu five years (1372), belonging to Sichuan Province. In the fifteenth year of Hongwu (1382), it was changed to the capital of Guizhou. In the twenty-seventh year of Hongwu (1394), it belonged to Sichuan Chengxuan Bureau. During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the word "military and civilian" was abolished and directly called Zunyi House. Today, most areas of Zunyi City belong to these two houses, and some areas belong to Shiqian House and Sinan House. In the fifth year of Yongzheng (1727), Zunyi Prefecture was placed under the jurisdiction of Guizhou Province from Sichuan Province.
