Changyi Greening Expo is the core area of Changyi seedling industry development, and it is also the venue and main venue of previous greening expositions. The park was invested and constructed by Weifang Jinsida Group, a leading seedling enterprise in Changyi, in April 2003, with a total area of more than 2,000 mu. It is a large-scale comprehensive industrial cluster integrating seedling display and trading, scientific and technological information exchange, sightseeing and entertainment, and the largest seedling display and exchange carrier in Jiangbei. It was named as "National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Point" and "Shandong Ecological Education Demonstration Base" by the National Tourism Administration and Shandong Forestry Bureau, and it is also "Shandong Ecological Photography Creation Base".

In order to build the Greening Expo into a first-class exhibition center in the domestic flower and tree industry, Weifang Kingstar Group invested more than 200 million yuan to build an ecological functional area with exquisite exhibition garden, natural harmony and rich cultural heritage, and built the exhibition center, international exhibition hall, variety exhibition garden, pile landscape garden, evergreen garden, tropical plant museum, ecological restaurant and other infrastructure. In 2007, garden culture was highlighted; Folk culture and water culture, the implementation of horticultural landscape, folk culture, waterscape construction three key projects, to further enrich the cultural connotation, improve the carrying capacity. According to the recent plan, the Greening Expo will focus on "road, green and water" and connect with the Weihe River scenic belt to create a larger and more perfect urban ecological function area and green industry exhibition area.
