Reading a short essay on appreciation of peony in Luoyang Huacheng
Luoyang has a lantern show every year. As a Luoyang person, I haven't really enjoyed the light show at night, because it's far from Wangcheng Park, so I either look at the photos brought back by others during the day. Today, I can finally witness the charm of the Wangcheng Lantern Festival!

At the entrance of Wangcheng Park, lanterns are hung high, and a row of lanterns are installed on the gate, which are brightly lit. Above the gate, there are several large letters "20 1 1 Spring Festival Lantern Festival" made of neon lights. The four tall colored lampposts in front of the door are very beautiful. Walking into the gate is a sea of lights and a happy world. In the middle is the tall and bright "Nine Rabbits Giving Blessings". The lanterns on both sides shine brightly, and many lanterns are hung on each tree.

First, a "bustling lantern" shows the traditional folk customs, followed by "dragon and tiger jumping lights". Whenever the tiger roars, its front paws leap and the dragon flies. The lanterns of the White Horse Temple appeared before our eyes. Four monks were sitting there chanting. There is a stove in the middle, and the flame is still burning inside. There are two white horses in front and two houses on both sides, where monks ring bells and drums.

Queen lanterns, Furman lanterns, animal carnival lanterns ... fascinate me. Suddenly, a familiar figure caught my eye, and I looked intently. Isn't that our teacher, the blue sky and bright moon, the happy snow doll? We walked along a path in the west with our teacher. The ordinary fairy peony statue that we looked at on weekdays now looks so beautiful. Around the fairy peony, there are all peony lanterns, one after another, which makes the fairy peony statue shine. There was a sudden burst of familiar music in front, huh? Isn't this a parade March? Is there a military parade in Wangcheng Park? We rushed forward. Oh, it's long live the motherland Lantern, which shows the scene of the National Day in 2009. A pocket-sized Tiananmen Gate stands tall, and a five-star red flag rises in front of it. Three honor guards stood beside the national flag, and various armored vehicles passed behind them. How spectacular!

When we passed the gate of the zoo, we suddenly heard someone shouting, "The zoo doesn't want tickets, but it's free!" " "Oh, there is a lantern in the zoo. It looks like a Chinese knot. We walked in with the crowd and saw the Chinese knot in Kowloon. The top is a dragon, the middle knot is composed of eight dragons, and the bottom is two dragons with claws, which embodies the good faith of the Chinese nation John Lone. I have long heard that there is a crane lamp in Wangcheng Park, which is the only lamp on the water. We came to a lake and finally found the crane lamp! There are several slender cranes and lotus flowers in the lake. A small bridge on the lake connects the two banks. It's beautiful to see Xianhe Lake from the bridge. ...

There are too many lanterns here, such as the rabbit house lantern, the carp jumping dragon gate lantern, the China soaring lantern, the hundred birds flying towards the phoenix lantern, the Jade Rabbit Spring Festival lantern and the Lion Dance lantern ... We are dazzled. Through this light show, I opened my eyes and feasted my eyes. At the same time, I once again realized the atmosphere of celebrating the Year of China, and people's lives became more prosperous.
