Xushui District is located at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, in the middle of Hebei Province. Located at 38 09 north latitude; -39 09', east longitude11519'-115 46'. Rongcheng County and Anxin County in the east, Qingyuan County and Beishi District in the south, Mancheng County and Yixian County in the west and Dingxing County in the north, with a total area of 723 square kilometers. Products have the unique advantages of scarcity and irreplaceable, corrosion resistance, no radiation, bright color, never fading, good texture and strength, and enjoy a high reputation in the international building materials market. Mainly used for interior decoration of houses, exported to more than ten countries such as the United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan and Spain. Kaolin resources are mainly distributed near Wuxiangpo, Yilianzhuang Township, with a reserve of 3.5 million cubic meters, which is mainly used for daily ceramics, paper making and chemical industry. Limestone resources are mainly distributed in the western mountainous areas, with shallow burial, easy development, high grade and abundant reserves. Dolomite is the raw material of metallurgical flux. The deposit is located in the north of Xiangshan, at the foot of Busan, with great mining potential and high economic value.
Water resources are abundant. The main rivers are Waterfall River, Caohe River and Heping River, with an average annual precipitation of 546.9 mm, so that industrial, agricultural and domestic water can be guaranteed. The layout of urban water supply pipe network is reasonable and the water quality is good. The main canal of the Middle Route of South-to-North Water Transfer Project enters the county from the northeast of Bai Bao Village in Mancheng County, passing through three towns, namely Yilianzhuang, Dawangdian and Dongbushan, and 13 administrative villages, with a canal line length of 13 km. The main canal adopts the form of open channel water conveyance, with the design flow of 170-50 cubic meters per second, the bottom of the canal is 22.5-7 meters wide and the water depth is 5-3.8 meters, and there are 8 meters wide shelterbelts on both sides of the canal.
