Attention! You may have eaten fake candy! Do you want this to be fake news?
A group of lawless elements produced fake chocolate in a workshop for the reconstruction of a private house in Wuhu City, Anhui Province. A box of counterfeit chocolates, costing about 300 yuan, was finally sold to a wholesaler at a price of more than 500 yuan. After the first-class resale, the price can be as high as 700 yuan per box after being sold to a candy store. In the end, the police seized more than 300,000 pieces of counterfeit brand-name chocolates in one fell swoop, involving tens of millions of yuan, because a wedding dress shop owner sent counterfeit chocolates to regular manufacturers to check their authenticity. The day before yesterday, the People's Court of Xinwu District of Wuxi made a first-instance judgment on this extraordinarily serious "counterfeit famous brand chocolate case". Eight defendants, including Zhang, were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from 1 year to 5 years, partially suspended, and fined from 6.5438+0.85 million yuan to 6.5438+0.85 million yuan. The total fine for 8 people is 6,654,38+0.2 million yuan.

Chocolate tastes bad, and it's all fake after testing.

From 2065438 to February 2005, the owner of a candy store in Wujin District, Changzhou received many complaints from customers, reflecting that the Dove chocolate he sold was not good in taste. So, Boss Ji telephoned Xu, the middle wholesaler, and Xu said, "There is nothing wrong with the product." Boss Ji contacted Dove Chocolate China factory and mailed the chocolate he had wholesaled from Xu as a sample. The test results show that these "Dove" chocolates are fakes.

Dove China immediately reported to its parent company, Mars Group, and alerted Wuxi police. According to the investigation by Wuxi police, all the counterfeit chocolates sold by Xu came from the candy store opened by Hongmou in Wuxi Tangnan Trade City. Tracing all the way to the end, the police found that behind this was a major case of manufacturing and selling internationally renowned brands such as Dove and Ferriero across Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai and Anhui.

The owner of the candy store buys a lot of goods and can earn hundreds of dollars by selling a box.

Hongmou, from Yancheng, operated wedding candy in Wuxi Tangnan Merchants City ten years ago. On 20 14, Hongmou got to know Wang, an Anhui native who came to promote Dove. The chocolate brought by Wang is said to be produced by himself and the price is low. Hongmou can see that Wang's chocolate can be confused with the real, and the profit behind it is high.

So, in less than half a year from June 20 14 to March 20 15, Hongmou bought 749 boxes of counterfeit Dove chocolates from Wang at a price of more than 500 yuan per box. Subsequently, Hongmou sold the fake "Dove" chocolate to Xu in Changzhou at a price of more than 600 yuan per box, and Xu sold it to the owner of Wujin candy store at a price of more than 700 yuan per box. In addition, Qian, the owner of a candy store in Nanjing, bought and sold about 600 boxes of counterfeit Dove chocolates from another Anhui businessman, Zhang, who came to promote Dove chocolates at the same low price. The reporter learned that the wholesale price of this type of authentic Dove chocolate in the market is more than 800 yuan per box, and the retail price is more than 900 yuan.

Zhang, Wang and Xu are all from Wuhu, Anhui Province, and are short of foreign debts. Three people * * * jointly invested 500,000 yuan, and since 20 14, they have hired people to produce counterfeit Dove brand chocolates in a renovation workshop of a residential building in Wuhu. It is understood that at the end of the first month, Zhang got 350,000 yuan, and Wang and Xu each got 6.5438+0.7 million yuan. Later, due to the uneven distribution of interests, Wang and Zhang had a contradiction. Wang also pulled his relatives to set up another door, and found an advertising company in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province to make "Ferrero" chocolate and sell the fake "Ferrero" chocolate to Hong and Qian. It is understood that the brand-name chocolates they produce are difficult to distinguish from the packaging, trademarks and products, so many consumers are deceived.
