This guy must think he is the third generation leader of Buddhism!
Huang Meitong said to the Monkey King, I know you have some tricks, so I want to make a bet with you. If you can beat me, I'll let you go west. If you can't, I'll kill you all.
This is the superficial meaning of Huang Mei's mouth. But the opposite is true!
The truth is: If the Monkey King really can't beat him, let him go! If the Monkey King's skill is greater than his, it will be in trouble! You know, Maitreya is actually hiding!
What is the method of Huangmei Tonger? Let's see:
1) Monkey King+Twenty-eight Hostels+The truth of the five parties comes out. Let's fight together. They were all captured by Huangmei's children at one time, tied up and thrown on the ground. Then, a banquet was set in front of them, and they ate until dark in the morning. This guy likes to put on airs. )
Wukong escaped, followed by Huang Mei-tong, and fought another battle, with Pig and Friar Sand as two helpers. Bajie asked him about his luggage. Wukong said, "My life is almost inevitable, so don't talk about my luggage!" When Huang Meizi took out the baby, the monkey shouted, "Oh, no! Go! " Regardless of others, he somersaulted all the way and jumped up. It seems that he was scared and turned into a frightened bird. He runs so far as there is movement! Hide on the ninth floor before watching.
3) Wukong invited two groups of experts to subdue demons and catch monsters, and both of them were caught by Huang Mei Tong Er.
Visible, compared with the Huangmei lad, the Monkey King is not in a class at all! Finally, the Monkey King had no choice but to cry in a deserted place.
At this time, Maitreya came. Note: Maitreya came uninvited, which is rare in the whole journey to the West. He is playing now, and it has been confirmed that the Monkey King is no match for Huangmei Tonger!
Then, why did the people in Xiaoxitian let them go when they saw that the Monkey King was not very good? This actually reflects the internal struggle of Buddhism in the western paradise.
Maitreya Buddha is a Buddha from the East, that is, the "deputy Buddha". Because it is also called the "future Buddha", it has become an open secret. Maitreya Buddha is the next Buddha appointed by Buddhism, and he is the future successor of this leading group.
The short, chubby, smiling deputy dharma power is boundless, of course, and should not be sent to a worse place, but after all, he is not Tathagata's own army and has a small sphere of influence. Now, the Tathagata has given the Buddhist team two indicators of becoming a Buddha. Will Maitreya be a problem? Guanyin, Tang Priest and the Monkey King have formed a new powerful force around the Tathagata, and Tang Priest is a direct disciple of the Tathagata. Will this pose a threat to his successor?
So Maitreya arranged for his boys to see the Monkey King. In contrast, they were released without posing a threat.
The boy with yellow eyebrows has achieved a positive result, but is his fruit position a Buddha position? Or the bodhisattva position? Or an arhat position? He claims to be an old Buddha with yellow eyebrows, which may have a false high content. Maitreya said that he was just a boy, which may have a false low component. Functionally speaking, the boy Maitreya should be equivalent to the Buddha, so the boy with yellow eyebrows should be a bodhisattva, or a bodhisattva who enjoys Buddha-level treatment.
Huangmei lad is probably thinking, do you have any means, a the Monkey King actually mix in front of Lao tze! So I want to take it out on the Monkey King.
The contradiction between Maitreya Buddha and Tang Priest, and the contradiction between Huang Meizi and the Monkey King are essentially struggles for status, rights and status. This internal contradiction cannot be solved by "equality". If the two sides are evenly matched, the contradiction will never be alleviated. Only when one party completely surpasses the other party will the contradiction be eliminated in disguise.
Why is this happening? Because this Buddhist organization itself is a powerful violent institution.
Maitreya in the Journey to the West, although there are not many scenes, although always smiling, but we can still appreciate the ruthless spirit of the two masters, super powerful! Just a few simple words, that smell and style are really enough! Please see:
1) the Monkey King can't beat the boy with yellow eyebrows. He was crying when Maitreya came: "Wukong, do you know me?" When Monkey saw this, he quickly bowed down and said, "Come to the East Palace, Buddha? Disciples have evaded, and all sins are unforgivable, and all sins are unforgivable! "
The Monkey King himself said that I am a good man, and I only worship three people: the Buddha in the Western Heaven, Guanyin in the South China Sea, and the two masters who saved me. Even if you meet the jade emperor, you just say hello and sing a promise. Now, he worships Maitreya, and he still obeys immediately.
I once worshipped the nine-tailed fox, but I had to. It is not cruel to worship the nine-tailed fox. It is liberation, but it is not cruel to worship the Tathagata, because the Tathagata is cruel! What about worshipping Maitreya? Maitreya is a person who has nothing to do with him, but he should bow down at once! This only shows that Maitreya is as cruel as Tathagata!
2) Wukong said, "Come to the Oriental Buddha? Disciples have evaded, and all sins are unforgivable, and all sins are unforgivable! "
Why not disrespect, but say "unavoidable"? Failure to avoid it is a sin. It can be seen that the rule in Buddhist organizations is: when you meet a big leader, you must first "avoid". It is a sin not to avoid it. If you can't avoid it, bye.
What a cow! This Buddhist organization institutionally guarantees the subordinate's personal worship of the leader!
Because there are few scenes of Maitreya, we should read this passage very carefully. According to the original text, you can only do this understanding!
3) Maitreya designed Wukong to get into the belly of a boy with yellow eyebrows. The boy with yellow eyebrows rolled around in pain and cried, "Somebody help me!" Maitreya showed his true colors and cried with a smile, "Evil beast! Do you recognize me? "
Do you recognize me? Maitreya said this sentence twice.
The first sentence when I saw Wukong: Do you know me? The first sentence when I met Huang Mei was: Do you know me?
These two people know Maitreya 100%. Why do you ask? Tell people who know you know me, that's a problem! Then there is only one possibility: it is difficult! When you are cruel, say: Do you know Laozi? Let you know Lao Tzu!
The Monkey King and Huang Meizi are the two most arrogant people in Journey to the West. The Monkey King never dared to become a Buddha. Huangmei boy has higher means and dares to become a Buddha. He's crazy! Maitreya Buddha may just want the boy in Huangmei to compete with the Monkey King, but the boy in Huangmei took the opportunity to taste like a Buddha. It's fun!
At the same time, two of the most arrogant people were repaired by Maitreya. First, they asked the boy with yellow eyebrows to make the Monkey King cry. Then they asked the Monkey King, Do you know me? Conversely, he asked the Monkey King to make the boy Huangmei cry, and then asked the boy Huangmei, Do you know me?
You two lunatics are blind and don't look at who I am!
After the boy with Huangmei was captured by Maitreya, the more the Monkey King thought about it, the worse it became. You are very skillful, aren't you? I can't beat you, can I? What can I do if I can't win? Don't look at me! In the original book, it was written like this: The disciples endured for a long time, fed the white horse, packed their bags and boarded the plane the next morning. Set a fire when you leave and burn those rare buildings, thrones, high shelves and lecture halls to ashes!
